Here’s a Bit More About Dr. Clancy
Dr. Clancy is a licensed Doctor of Oriental Medicine and Acupuncture Physician in the state of Florida. Until 2015 she served as the Chair for the Board of Acupuncture for the state of Florida, (serving for 7 years) an appointment by the Governor of Florida. She was an adjunct professor at East West College and clinical supervisor. She is a Lt. Col in the United States Civil Air Patrol (CAP) where she serves as a Health Service Officer as well as other positions on staff. She has received training in Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM) and Community Emergency Response Team (CERT). She has received Life Saving awards from Civil Air Patrol and the Sarasota County Fire Department. Dr. Clancy has been a provider for both the Veterans Administration and the Shepherd Center. She specializes in working with veterans and active military suffering from PTSD, TBI and pain. She has been through challenging life experiences which give her a unique perspective on many health situations. As well as having worked in Western Medicine before her degrees in Oriental Medicine. She has taught for the American Heart Association and her love is treating Military and Veterans, which she operates a 501(c)3 non-profit, Acupuncture 4 Veterans as well.
